I think everyone knows about this greates group from the 70's fame, well this album contain one songthat is one of my favorites song off all too, i mean the self tille song, a little mix between aor and reggae stuff, but very exclusive, i recommend a lot this fabulous song.

This is an example of a lost gem of the Westcoast Aor scene, yes and like some said "luke on Gtr" which mean the legendary Steve Lukather!!, and produced by Humberto Gatica from Chile!! yes!! lol finally some good music performance guy from my country without offend it lol. Wow what can i say about this artist? excellent i mean amazing westcoast aor music like this one "I Want To" killer Aor and off course! Tom Kelly, Richard Page & Steve George on vocals!!, excellent and exclusive with a lot of performances famous guys.

Dann Rogers - Hearts Under Fire (79) (International Artist Records)

This is an tipically exclusive artist of the Westcoast scene. Excellent Country Aor artist who has one of my favorites song of all called "Looks like Love Again" simply an masterpiece, no more than i can say because a good song is worth a thousand words. There is another good country ¿"Rock"? song called like the self tittle album, very nice song too althought that it is an cover from an band from the 75's year called Clover.

The Hilton Fyle Band - Fresh (87) (Nadya Music Records)

I'm not much into an Funky pure  but this one deserves to be checked, this is one of the best funk that i ever listened in my life for the song "I'm Gonna Give You", killer funky song and this other "Brother Zombie And Sister Flash", well mostly the lp contain some reggae rhythms, slow jams and modern soul. 

Colin Blunstone - Touch (83) (EP) (PTR)

I think everyone knows about Colin, but this one is a kind of rare, well this is one of my favorites songs of all!!, so delicious Synth Pop with the best rhythm similar in rhythm of the drums like nielsen/pearson - Got me where you want me". I know this song because here in Chile still plays that song in one or two radio station, but in very few times, anyway i present only for promote this song cos' i think that is one of the best grooves that i ever listened in my life.

Tammy Lindsay - Be Encouraged (87) (PGS) (Pure Gospel Sound)

Excellent and mega rare Modern Soul Funk Gospel, contain the self tittle album song (Be Encouraged), killer Gospel, excellent song!! just wonderful. the second song i chose is more funky "You Are My Joy" sound very good!!, and the third also is funky enough "You Can't Hurry God", absolutely recommend it LP!!. Note: This is Not 89 lp called "Introducing Tammy Lindsay" not confuse!

An nice modern soul gospel tipically from USA contain mostly soul songs like this song called "I Know Him" nice one, in my opinion the best of the lp and another called " After Every Dark Cloud" more soul.

An nice Modern Soul Gospel with touch of Aor Westcoast sounds produced by Brown Bannister and Chris Christian (Monster in CCM), contain an nice song called like the self tittle album.

Jessy Dixon - You Bring The Sun Out (80) (Light Records)

An nice Modern Soul Gospel, who had some little westcoast aor moves but mostly is an inspirational gospel like this "He Never Let Me Down Before" and another mellow lovely ballad called like the self tille album.

Aztec Two-Steps - Two's Company (76) (RCA)

One of favorites artist on the country scene but better than country has like an latin sounds with an little touch of funky style.. One of my favorites song is "Finding Somebody New" Excellent song very good, very nice latin rhythm and "Lovin Game" excellent melodic latin!!!!!. Pd: Rudy's lp the great in AOR SSW CCM and WC lps!!.

Minuit - St (80) (Unison)

Nice and rare soul for Canadian blue-eyed soul  who contain songs between soft music,  aor and funky grooves like " Il Faut Recommencer" funky groove very nice m "Si Tu Volais" one of the bests i think and "La Couleur De Mes Reves"  my favorite; i found some info on popsike.com: "Quebec's Dwight Druick (of "Georgie Porgie" fame) and a few bandmates recorded their only LP as "Minuit" at the Muscle Shoals Studio in Alabama.       A strong blend of bluesy modern soul & funk with nice progressive elements.....and absolutely superb musicianship throughout the album......Nice !"

An killer aor tempo ultra exclusive!!. One of my favorites artist from the Westcoast scene very knowin' by the Aor collectors but incredible wanted!!. The most killer from his Lp song is called "Summer Song", killer one and another more aor Pop is called "Hurts Just  A Little", an cover of Donna Summer. Terrible Modern soul Gospel Funk Present Calvin Bridges (Alone this time), i think this is the best lp from the 80's by him, contain the bomb song "Rose Of Sharon" extremely good song, trully awesome modern soul!!, and another funky song called like the  album, this is an Jens's ripp production, the heavy weight of soul/funk music!!!!

The Keisser Twins - St (84) (Columbia)

An excellent production from Holland, some think are "New Ages" style but there i consider "Pop Fusion" or "Jazz Fusion" anyway it's an crazy great lp!!, there is an exceptional Aor westcoast song called "Girl Are Made Of This", very sweet Pop Fusion with an Aor Smooth!!. An excellent Gospel production from 84's year, one of my favorites years of all, i love this kind of rhythm very soul gospel with an touch or aor mellow, very lovely, very recommend it!!, i choose two wonderfuls , one called  "He Will Make A Way" (fantastic aor moves) and  "he lives in me" wonderful boths!!.

Richard Torrance - Double Take (78) (Capitol Records)

Excellent Lp from US, i love this style, touch of funky, rock, pop, aor, etc. excellent voice and guitar too, nice drums nice all!!. One of my favorite song is called "Desert Lady" one of my favorites songs of all!!!. enjoy!!!

Mesa - Sailing Ships/City Lights (EP) (77) (Ariola)

Rare ep from Usa, this song "Sailing Ships" Hits on billboard in top 150/200, this is an example of Aor, Soul, Rock, Pop, Etc. One of my favorites song of all, one masterpiece very exclusive, fantastic and great .

Dave Raynor - Rain Or Shine (80) (First American)

In no more than a one or one and an half year this lp was one of the most wanted aor productions  because everyone heard that sounds to an extremelly aor productions of all time and it is!!!, one of my favorites lps of all with very good influences in aor mellows, westcoast with an lovely guitar and sweet voice of mr Dave. i Choose two songs, my favorite "Leave Me Alone Tonight" and "I Can't Take It".

Nice Modern Soul Gospel Finally from 80's very lovely with two excellents songs called "Something Keeps Telling Me To Hold On" and "He Said He Would Be There".

I'm not much into earlie 70's ages but always there's exceptions, this is one of my favorites lps of all from 73, with Alessi Brothers and Peppy Castro this is pioneer i aor music and my favorites song of all is "Something Good About nothing"  kind of psychedelic style very lovely and another fast groove called "I Think I'm Gonna Like it", both terribles!.

Exclusive Funk/Pop Electro-funk Woman  from the 80's with her best lp from Sweden very exclusive i found 3 good songs called " Jägarna" (the best), and slow called "Människors Spel" and finally  one fast electro-funk called " Interrail"; i'm not much into another languajes besides english and brasilian grooves, but always there's exceptions.

Calvin Bridges & The Voices Tabernacle Voices - So Much To Be Grateful For (81) (Birthright)

Killer Modern soul Gospel Funk from Rev. Calvin Bridges, there is an fantastic song called "Turned Over To Jesus" lovely funky gospel, very sweet soul/funk song!! highly recommend it!!.

Michael Peterson - St. (86) (Westcoast Friends Productions)

Ultra westcoast ccm sound, collaborations with Jay Gruska, Dave Raynor, Carlos Vega, Deniece Williams, etc. mostly all the songs are aor, but there is an exceptional song called "never go away", very nice song, very good aor!!, and another called "Nail Without A Carpenter". Noted that in his own Michael Peterson's page, mention that there is an lp "out of print" and there is poor references on google, well there is an video on youtube but nothing else...

Archers - All Systems Are Go (84) (Light)

Nice ccm groups with a lot of good music on his history show us one 84 lp very good mostly for on song called "Winnin' Again" that also appeared a year later as a bonus song on the LP version of Steve Archer’s 1985 album “Action” (must be for the good of the song lol).

Another Lovely Excellent Modern Soul Gospel, very spiritual full of praise to God, one of the best songs is called "Thank you Lord". landslide song!! very good and sweet gospel!!, another good soul is the self album tittle song "Filled With His Spirit". Another thanks to Florian ;).

Fay Hill - Fay (This Is A Blessing) (81) (Witness For The Lord - WTF)

If "Enlightment" was the the best modern soul gospel funk (in my opinion) i think that this lp is the second best. When i listened this, tooks a while notes the extreme excellents songs, starting with one of my favorites: This Is A Blessing!. Cool Gospel Funk & Soul Lp exclusive, very unknow until a few months when everybody's seen on "souldennis" from that time, was a priority for almost all excusive's collector of funky & soul to get this awesome lp!. All the songs are very spiritual, but the funky disco songs, are the best!. Another same excellent as the first one is called "I Don't Know You" Magnifiscent song, i love that song!! and the third one is called "I Know Who You Should See", that 3 songs are fantastics!!!.Sadly there is some guys who don't apreciate this kind of music, and even disrespect them with their attitudes.

Charlene Bell - Jesus Christ Is Soming Back (86) (victory records)

Great lp, lovely gospel modern soul with little aor moves by moments, sweet music is this lp, over all self tittle album song "Jesus Christ is coming back", very inspirational gospel music similar to the song "thank you lord" by "nelson family", i love this kind of rhythm!!.  Thanks to Jesus for this Lovely good music!!. Also there is another more aor westcoast song called "Know That I Am God". Thanks to Florian for this one, God Bless Him and His family!.

Quinn Harris - My Mother Said (87) (Requiest)

Lovely Gospel Funk, Electro/Funk, very inspirational certainly not the entired lp are good, but there is an good lovely sweet song call like the album name "My Mother Said". I like it a lot!!, this album is worth for this wonderful song.

Gary Valenciano - Gary (84) (Blackgold)

I remember listening for the first time the past 2010 year, september if i can remember, showing by the best "recoromak", i just listened the song "Cause you, Cause me" and becomes one of my favorites, i don't know exactly what i like of this song, but i consider unique on his style, some kind of funky, pop, jazz and very aor too!!. The other good one more soul or slow aor mellow is the song " Love of Mine" very good too!!!

Enlightment - Faith Is The Ley (84) (New Release Records) (The Pinacle Of Gospel)

This LP is the best Modern Soul/Funk in this moment in my opinion, is the most Killer, Terrible, Superbe amazing lp of all! contain in my opinion the best Gopel funk song of all!! "Burning Flame" wow, amazing song, no words to say the great of this fantastic song, i love this song, magnifiscent song!!! Bravo!!!. Her voices is trully awesome and the rhythm is... no words. Another good Funky sounds is "Faith is the Key" the Album tittle and the first song; Fantastic song, pure magic, great vocales & lyrics, reminds me to shalamar, but a little more sophisticaded. The last Funky one is "What's Happening People", wow this song is great, i mean more than great, lovely, blessed by the same God, pure sweet music and you can dance it!! excellent vocals players and awesome music. Starting with the moder soul style we found 5 excellent songs, starting with the song "Him That's On Top Of The World" it's  an terrible good, inspirational, and lovely song, i love this;  another one is the song "Up and Away" great soul song, very nice lovely. another is called "I Got To Get Away", this song is awesome with lovely vocals and very well played, i love that song!!. There is another good one called "Goin home", nice one too!!. And finally one other killer song is "Jesus Is walking by" WoW terrible good song, just terrible!! seems the introduction to a movie or something Estill, just amazing song. In conclusion, 9 songs on the disc, 6 excellent, 2 good and one is the best of all the disk and the best in this style. NOT WHOLE LP!! NO VIOLATION COPYRIGHT!!

Nice Group, Nice Year of release, and nice electro funk and aor pop scene, very sweet group i think from California lol!, anyway, two songs for the delight!!  " Nothing more That I  Can Do" and "Trying To Survive Without you".
