Adrian Snell - Midnight Awake (83) (Pilgrim)

The book Contemporary Christian Music describes Adrian Snell’s Midnight Awake as “heavily orchestrated British pop—punchy upbeat rock ‘n’ roll tunes and tremendously melodic ballads.”  Joe English and his band Forerunner back Snell on this album.  This includes guitarist Norman Barrett, who played with Larry Norman and a host of other acts.  Released in the U.S. on Pilgrim/America in 1983.
